Tag Heuer’s new launch comes with a bold claim, the company has stated that the Tag Heuer 45 Connected Modular Full Diamond is the most expensive smartwatch in the world! Priced at $180,000, this watch is dripping in 589 diamonds, which is the reason for the high price tag. Smartwatches don’t usually find themselves in the jewelry watch category, but this one is the rare exception.
The Connected Modular watch features a 45mm case crafted from 18k polished white gold. Its bezel, lugs, and bracelet are adorned with a total of 589 baguette cut diamonds with VVS clarity. The watch is decked out with 23.35 carats of bling. The watch offers an AMOLED display screen with a high screen resolution of 400 x 400 as well as 512 MB memory and 4 GB storage. It was created in partnership with Intel and Google and uses the Android WearTM operating system.
Because it’s a modular watch, you can swap out the “smart” screen for a mechanical watch head that’s powered by a caliber 5 movement.
