Guerlain launches LUI, a brand-new scent for both men and women

French Perfume House – Guerlain doesn’t fail to please us ever. And it is living up to its reputation of being the best fragrance manufacturer in the world yet again with the introduction of a mesmerizing new scent called the LUI. In the revolutionary times of today, the barriers and lines of gender and sexuality are only diminishing for the good. And our beloved perfume label has decided to incorporate this growing ideology in its upcoming perfume.

The uni-sex scent is represented as a global fragrance that is fit for all. Essentially, the LUI is a floral, woody and spicy base that is created by the dynamic pair of Thierry Wasser and Delphine Jelk. Their notion of creating a unique fragrance that combines various genres is perfectly translated in the scent’s ambivalent and complex alchemy. Its heady mix uses benzoin as the main ingredient that is further combined with spicy accents of carnation, balmy notes, piquant powders, woods, and leather.

A fragrance this mesmerizing is bound to be presented in a case that does justice to it. Hence, the LUI comes in an exclusive black and lacquered bottle with heavy Art Deco references, much like the intricate Chinese paintings from the 18th century. Guerlain Lui is available as a 50 ml Eau de Parfum for €160 ($ 178.31 USD). As rightly said, the scent is truly inspired by a generation that is free from the norms of the genre, and has the idea of a decidedly universal perfume. You clearly wouldn’t want to miss buying this one!
