London to get the the world’s first pop up restaurant serving 3D printed food

In what is set to be one of the most unique experiences in the world, the organizers of the 3D Printshow in London have roped in a Michelin starred chef to create a meal of 3D printed foods. This is likely the world’s very first 3D print powered pop-up restaurant. Though the Michelin Chef’s name has not yet been disclosed yet, they have some cool surprises in store for visitors.

The chef will use fresh and seasonal ingredients to treat visitors to 3d printed food. Guests will also learn about the role of 3D printing technology in the culinary world. The invited chef will present a 3D printed chocolate globe featuring an accurate world map filled with a variety of flavor compartments.

A conference on the 22nd of May will allow guests to learn how to use 3D print for the creation of a variety of 3D printed dishes, they will be given expert advice and technical knowledge.

The 3D Printshow London 2015 takes place at The Old Truman Brewery, London, across 21-23rd May.
