Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley and Princess Diana memorabilia will be auctioned at China

Celebrity memorabilia has always found enthusiastic buyers and bidders. And this time it should no different. Julien’s Auctions is all set to bring celebrity collectibles to the Chinese markets soon. Listed are the rare and weird stuff that goes under the hammer in Macau. First up is something that will make Elvis Presley fans drool. A plastic vial with the Rock ‘n’ Roll star’s hair collected by Homer Gilleland, his personal barber is expected to fetch between $8,000 and $10,000. Then there is Catherine Walker burgundy velvet ball gown that by Princess Diana was dressed in at a 1989 party for the then French ambassador, Viscount Luc de La Barre de Nanteuil which is touted to fetch between $80,000 and $100,000

Elvis and MJ go hand in hand, now don’t they? Not to be left far behind is another celeb keepsake, MJs Black Glove and Arm Brace, which is a custom-made black spandex right-hand glove dowsed in black Swarovski loch Rosen crystals which are hand-sewn. This one is expected to set the cash register ringing between $30,000 and $50,000. Another celeb on my list is Bruce Lee. The worn-out pair of yellow Adidas trainers he wore for the movie “Game of Death” is estimated to earn between $6,000 and $8,000. Last on the list is the batman costume from the 1992 film Batman Returns, where Michael Keaton played the title role. This suit is expected to earn between $50,000 and $60,000.
