It looks like Brooklyn Beckham is following in his father’s footsteps to become a collector of rare and collectible timepieces. The son of David and Victoria Beckham, who married American actress Nicola Peltz in 2022, has built himself a rather impressive collection of classic watches over the last few years. While speaking to Esquire, the 24-year-old went through the favorites in his collection and what turned him into a watch guy. According to Brooklyn, it all started on his 21st birthday when his father gifted him a rose-gold Patek Philippe Nautilus. The former model said: “I was doing my huge dinner for my birthday and my dad took me aside. He was, like, ‘I got you a present, let me know if you like it’. I opened it up and I was, like, ‘Oh my God!’ ’Cause I’ve always wanted that exact Patek.”

The Nautilus has been discontinued now, but it’s still a highly coveted timepiece amongst watch collectors. The rose gold model can easily fetch north of $150,000 in the pre-owned market. “That’s my favourite watch – I wear that one every day,” Brooklyn told Esquire. “When I got it, I was so stunned. I was just, like, ‘Wow’. I was so surprised. “And they’re such amazing investments. Especially those ones. They’re the best investments you can get.”

In addition to the Patek, Brooklyn received “the old Steve McQueen Rolex Submariner” with the “old-school leather fat band” for his 18th birthday. His collection also features several Rolexes, including a GMT-Master II Pepsi and the Batman version with the blue and black bezel. Currently, the English socialite is looking to expand his collection with a white gold Patek Nautilus or a rainbow Rolex Daytona, which his father already owns. When Esquire asked if he could persuade the former footballer to hand it down to him, he quipped: “I might have to just take it and not tell him.”
