The luxury label roped in the jeweler to the stars, Jacob Arabo, to turn 1,373 carats of natural diamonds into something that could move against Kylie Jenner’s body. The Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra that marks its third decade also commemorates Jacob & Co.’s 40 years by incorporating Angel-cut diamonds.
This piece shatters the record of the previous benchmark, Gisele Bündchen’s $15 million Red Hot Fantasy ensemble from 2000. Not only is Kylie’s version approximately 3.3 times that valuation, but it also represents a whopping $35 million increase. Still, with this being Jacob & Co.’s Fantasy Bra debut, one couldn’t expect anything short of a glittering spectacle highlighted by the presence of a singular 75.54-carat natural fancy vivid yellow diamond.
The magic lies in the details:
It took 15 artisans no less than 1,000 hours each to assemble 3,218 individually designed pieces. In addition to the over 75-carat sparkler, 91 large natural white diamonds totaling 405.06 carats were selected in six different shapes featuring the Angel-cut, pear, round brilliant, heart, oval, and marquise. They all range from E to F in color and VVS2 to VS1 in clarity. The 18K gold bra weighed 4 pounds and was meticulously crafted using only gold and diamonds to mimic the form of a garment, while remaining comfortable and secure against the body.
This wasn’t just about flash but also about form and function, something Jacob & Co.’s 40 years of experience helped achieve. To ensure a flawless execution, the design team built a full-scale maquette of the bra’s structure using flexible chipboard, cutting, shaping, and drawing every section by hand and measuring it precisely on a bust form. The form was brought to life as jewelry using the lost-wax method. As for the fringe design at the back, each strand is a chain of individually cast settings, linked one to the next so that it moves freely with the body.

We brought together exceptional diamonds in different shapes and sizes, including our proprietary Angel-cut, and designed the piece so that it catches light with every step. The craft is extraordinary, and what matters most is the emotion it creates when you see it come to life on the runway.”
