Ever since it was released in early 2019 as part of the brand’s Men’s Spring 2019 collection, the arm candy has gained much buzz and is touted as a favorite amongst fashion aficionados. And in uplifting it by several notches, Louis Vuitton has now unveiled the quintessential trunk in ten novel colorways. Yes, that’s right!
Designed by the fashion house’s Artistic Director Virgil Abloh, the messenger bag forms part of the brand’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection. In its new avatar, it boasts of a soft-body construction with luxe metal hardware, a top-zip closure, leather corners, and an S-lock along with a removable leather strap. The arm candy comes in a range of different colors and materials such as a like Monogram-coated canvas, resilient opaque PVC, cowhide leather, denim, Eclipse-coated canvas, Monogram-embroidered see-through mesh, Taiga leather, Monogram Prism plastic, and premium crocodile skin.
The Soft Trunk SS20 collection ranges between USD 3,650 to USD 4,900, while the crocodile skin style retails at USD 34,000.
