Moncler unveils its first fragrances -“Pour Homme” and “Pour Femme” in bottles with customizable LED displays

Italian luxury fashion brand – Moncler is all set to make a foray into the world of fragrances! Its first launch consists of delicate perfumes titled -“Pour Homme” and “Pour Femme,” that come in never seen before decanters complete with a rechargeable LED screen. Yes, that’s right!

Crafted by perfumers Nisrine Grillié, Quentin Bisch, Antoine Maisondieu, and Christophe Raynaud at Givaudan, the fragrances present a harmony of contrasts that evokes “a crisp, cool ode to the great outdoors wrapped in an opulent cocoon of warmth.”

Commenting on it, Nisrine Grillié, in a statement, said, “The Mountain Woods accord is the common thread between the women’s and men’s fragrance. For its woody, outdoors feeling, we used cedarwood. For the stylish sophistication of the house, we worked with a saturation of amber. Together with Antoine Maisondieu, we added sandalwood for its comforting, creamy warmth.”

The Moncler Pour Homme features muskier notes of the “Mountain Woods” with amber, cedarwood, and sandalwood, and hints of citrus, while the Moncler Pour Femme entails “Powdery Snow” accents with white florals of jasmine sambac and heliotrope and notes of amber, cedarwood and sandalwood rounded off with natural vanilla.

Both the perfumes are housed in distinct “borraccia” flask-shaped bottles complete with a ridged silver case and cap as well as a rechargeable LED screen that can be customized via a Bluetooth-powered smartphone app. The decanters are further dropped in premium matte card boxes stamped with oversized iconic Moncler logos and the signature “feltrino” fabric patch to go!

Remarking on the launch, Philippe Bénacin, Interparfums CEO, said, “After several years of discussion, research and development, these two fragrances have come to life in a way that truly captures the essence of Moncler. Moncler as a brand has such a covetable status – it’s a brand that really embodies innovation, which is why these perfumes feel like the perfect continuation of its story. With these two fragrances, even the bottle itself is a new adventure, a new spirit, and a new way of communicating – whether it is to write your name, a special message, or anything you like.”

Priced at $210 (150ml), $140 (100ml), $95 (60ml), and $150 USD (Refill 150ml), the Moncler Pour Homme and Moncler Pour Femme will be available for purchase exclusively at Moncler boutiques and Bloomingdale’s onward October 10, 2021. Well, smells like success to us!
