New York-based audio company Master & Dynamic has partnered with Leica once again to add co-branded wireless headphones and earphones to the “Master & Dynamic for 0.95” collection that first debuted in almost three years back. 0.95 is a high-end accessories line by Leica that was created as an homage to the legendary Leica Noctilux – M 50 mm f/0.95 ASPH lens and its maximum aperture of 0.95. The two models to receive special treatment are the MW65 Active Noise-Cancelling Wireless Headphones and the MW07 PLUS True Wireless Earphones – two of the most sophisticated ‘sound tools’ in M&D’s product line-up.
Both the new Master & Dynamic for 0.95 models feature design elements inspired by the Noctilux lens and Leica brand, which include anodized aluminum with a matte black finish, gloss detailing, and Leica’s signature red dot marker. The headband and earpads of the MW65 is crafted out of a combination of durable cowhide and supple lambskin that’s reminiscent of the leather used on Leica camera. Leica’s iconic red marker and signature knurling can be found on the headphones’ matte-black aluminum body. The MW07 PLUS True Wireless Earphones, on the other hand, feature handcrafted acetate construction, a sleek new matte black stainless steel charging case, and a custom 10mm Beryllium driver. The red multifunction button, as you can guess, is inspired by Leica’s iconic red marker. Both the products are available for purchase on the company’s official website and are priced at $499 for the MW65 headphones and $299 for the MW07 earphones.
