Samsung UK recently opened up in London’s luxury department store, Harrods, where it will be displaying the brands premium home appliances. On display is a limited edition side-by-side refrigerator available for sale in the UK only through Harrods. The A++ energy rated refrigerator, which costs $ 4,660, boasts of a 701-liter capacity along with a mini drinks bar that provides easy access to the refrigerator’s interior without opening the entire door, helping to conserve energy. Aesthetically, Samsung has installed dual LED lighting that illuminates every corner of refrigerator; elegant Jewel Light delivers soft sparkles as beautiful gemstone when you open the door and homebar. There are champagne handles that sparkle along the pink gold line offering stylish beauty and the color features the latest bid painting technology that shows texture of the refrigerator by melting ink into the glass, which adds nothing but elegance to the sleek design.
The refrigerator uses Samsung’s latest CoolSelect Zone technology, which basically is an independent drawer that functions as a refrigerator within your refrigerator. Just select the mode required for the type of food you’re storing from four settings – Soft Freeze Mode, Quick Cool Mode, Chill Mode and Cool Mode – and the drawer quickly changes temperature to match your unique needs. It also features the Twin Cooling System, which features independent cooling systems for the fridge, and the freezer. The freezer stays dry and odorless while the fridge has the perfect temperature and humidity to keep the vegetable and other foodstuff fresh.
