Inspired by “metamorphosis” Iris van Herpen creates limited edition bottle for Dom Pérignon’s 2004 P2 vintage

In a collaboration that combined old world luxury with cutting edge aesthetics, designer Iris van Herpen has created the beautiful and artistic new design for Dom Pérignon’s 2004 P2 Brut Vintage. The limited edition bottles boast a rich dark green color and elaborate metallic detailing. Van Herpen has also created an art piece titled “Cocoonase” that functions as an accompaniment to the limited edition gift boxes featuring the vintage brut. Inspired by the idea of metamorphosis and change, the bottle boasts the futuristic, almost other worldly aesthetic that is also the trademark of her women’s wear designs. The beautiful products of the collaboration were unveiled on the eve of New York Fashion week at a party hosting the Anja Rubik, Coco Rocha, Andrew Van Wyngarden from MGMT, Carmelo Anthony, Kelly Rutherford, the DJ Bob Sinclar among other famous names. Incidentally Anja Rubik also features in Dom Pérignon Metamorphosis, The Movie shot by Daniel Sannwald.
