The Lanesborough London has teamed up with Netflix and Shondaland for the first-ever Bridgerton-themed afternoon tea experience

Nothing like a classic afternoon tea! And believing so while also bringing in a twist of sorts is The Lanesborough London. The marquee is
all set to unveil its innovative series of seasonal afternoon teas, inspired by American period drama Bridgerton, in association with Netflix and Shondaland.

Set to take off on the 25th of the month, the experience will be hosted at The Lanesborough’s exclusive dining room and will pay an ode to the Regency era in a whole new manner. The venue will boast a domed glass roof that will be naturally illuminated during the day and decorated with elaborate chandeliers at night, with several other luxe elements also wheeled in.

The menu for the event is crafted by The Lanesborough’s Head Pastry Chef, Kevin Miller and will include finger sandwiches and brioche sliders made using coronation chicken, fresh coriander, clarence court egg mayonnaise, wholegrain mustard, smoked salmon, horseradish, watercress, organic cucumber, natural yogurt, mint, rare roast beef slider, black pepper mayonnaise, and onion seed.

Those with a sweet tooth will further be able to relish delicious scones, cream, and jam, and concept cakes dedicated to the Bridgeton life and characters, such as The Queen’s Diamond ( a hand-crafted chocolate blended with honey, green cardamom, and white chocolate ganache), A True Love Match ( a classic layered Charlotte sponge cake constructed from a delicious light vanilla sponge), The Rake (a chocolate sable with milk chocolate mousse and a burst of whipped passionfruit curd center), and The Lady Whistledown (a pistachio nut financier and pistachio mousse cake).

However, the star of the show is the All is Fair in Love & War, which celebrates the Bridgerton family in all its glory! It consists of a rosewater cheesecake with a burst of raspberry jelly in the center, on a crumble crunch base coated in sprayed-blue, white chocolate. How delectable is that!

In addition to the sweet delights, guests will be able to enjoy a wide variety of alcoholic as well as non-alcoholic drinks curated by the hotel’s Head of Bars, Mickael Perron. Available from 25 March 2022, the Lanesborough’s Bridgerton Afternoon Tea is priced onward $85 per person (with the children’s afternoon tea menu priced at $46). Care to indulge in the grandeur of Bridgerton?
