Moët & Chandon may have an Ice Imperial to their chilled credit but they are not too cool for 2 Chainz. After all, bottles of champagne are regular stars in hip-hop and rap music films, which is probably why the brand got the Atlanta rapper to launch their latest luxury edition Methuselah bottle at the Moët Rosé Lounge at Miami’s Delano South Beach on Thursday. The bottle in question, the Moët Nectar Impérial Rosé Leopard luxury edition, is luxurious; its luscious 6 liters are bottled with handcrafted 22-carat gold leaf inlays.
In all its gold-inlaid glory, the precious bubbly has been “created for enjoyment during exceptional and celebratory moments.” And the luxury label took to Miami’s nightlife to prove it. Moët & Chandon celebrated the debut of their 2013 Rosé Lounge Series amidst the bubble-icious glamor from the unveiling of the 6-liter Moët Nectar Impérial Rosé. 2 Chainz was presented with the luxury edition bottle by Moët & Chandon President, Thomas Bouleuc. He later performed his hit singles including, “I’m Different,” “No Lie,” and “Birthday Song” to commemorate the day.
The rose demi-sec champagne in its leopard-spotted rosette aesthetic is limited to 60 bottles, priced at $5,000 each. They will be available from Sherry-Lehmann Wine & Spirits in New York and at some of the most exclusive nightclubs across the United States beginning December 1.
