Ryan Reynolds partners with Richard Branson and they have an awkwardly funny video about it

Earlier this year, actor Ryan Reynolds purchased ownership rights to the Oregon based Aviation American Gin. Little had we known then that the enterprising Mr. Reynolds already had plans to make the brand reach the sky. In doing so quite literally, the actor recently announced a partnership with Virgin Atlantic airlines to serve the award-winning Gin onboard its selected flights.

As part of the collaboration, Aviation American Gin will now be served Virgin Atlantic Clubhouses and on board at 35,000 feet, as the brand’s exclusive airline partner. To further commemorate the tie-up, a few lucky passengers on board Virgin Atlantic flights on the 30th September will get to be part of a special mixology experience hosted by bartenders from some of the best bars such as The Dead Rabbit in New York and the Smugglers Cove in San Francisco. Commenting on the deal, Sir Branson said, “I’m delighted Virgin Atlantic is working with Ryan and his team on this partnership. Aviation Gin was born out of a spirit of innovation, so serving it on board Virgin Atlantic flights seemed like the perfect combination.”

Reynolds too stated his Euphoria by saying, “I’ve been a huge fan of Sir Richard Branson and Virgin for years. For Aviation to be chosen as the gin of choice for such an iconic and quintessentially British brand is a complete honor. We look forward to serving Virgin Atlantic guests for years to come and, on a personal note, Sir Richard has promised to teach me the difference between revenue and profit, so I am beyond excited.” The brands will also celebrate their partnership at the upcoming London Cocktail Week.
