With his eponymous restaurants scattered across the world and the launch of his hospitality venture, Nobu isn’t just a celebrity chef anymore but a well-respected entrepreneur and authority on modern Japanese cuisine. Now the enterprising owner of Michelin starred restaurants is about to get his very own food festival! Titled, ‘World of Nobu’ the event will host Chef Nobu Matsuhisa himself as well as several members of his team of Chefs from around the globe. Over 21 chefs from 10 countries will make at World of Nobu which will be hosted by Atlantis at Dubai’s favorite destination “the Palm.”
World of Nobu will kick off on the 16th of October with a cocktail party that will include unlimited tapas, great music courtesy of a surprise DJ as well as sampling of Hokusetsu Sake (which is served at Nobu restaurants). The second (and final) day of the festival with begin with the Global Tasting Festival where over 80 dishes from different Nobu locations will be served on a menu that will highlight the uniqueness of each restaurant. Attendees at the brunch can expect Deep House music courtesy of DJ Vinyl Dave. The festival will conclude with a 6 course gala-dinner complete with live culinary demonstrations and featuring entertainment from Salha and The Million Dollar Band.
Each portion of the festival is priced and ticketed separately. Ticket prices for the cocktail party begin at $123 while tickets to the Global Tasting brunch event will be priced at $162 (inclusive of spirits). Tickets to the gala dinner will set you back by $270 which is not bad at all considering Nobu’s restaurants are frequented by some very high profile celebrities.
