The Ritz-Carlton had been a frontrunner as it had first introduced digital services for its tech-obsessed guests way back in 2012. The hotel group has now enhanced The Ritz-Carlton App by introducing real-time service requests, food and beverage ordering, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards account review, folio review, and access to exclusive local content, concierge tips and offers at all hotels.

Check In & Check Out
Use your smartphone or tab prior to check in prior to your arrival and receive a notification when your room is ready. Guests can also check out without any formalities at the front desk as their bill will be automatically sent to their email address.
Service requests
Whether you need a shoeshine, turndown service or more fresh towels, you can request it via the app. It also enables you to order food and beverage at select hotels.

The app gives you access to your bill and lets you track charges.
Travel posters
From October 1, the App is scheduled to launch a new shareable Travel Poster feature, where guests will be able to curate their own images with special filters, titles and stamps to create retro-style travel posters to capture their memories. They will then be able to share their posters across social media channels, or save them to a personal on-device camera roll, enabling them to store the travel memory forever.
