B is for Bentley, Boodles, and beautiful, a trifecta of British excellence that comes rolled into the second phase of this ongoing collaboration between Bentley Motors and the 200-year-old jeweler. At the helm of this partnership is Mulliner, Bentley’s bespoke division tasked with handling their most exclusive, hand-built requests. This part 2 of the spectacle is truly incredible, offering a dazzling design language that reflects the personality of both brands across every stitch, starting with the moment you approach the vehicle and are greeted by bespoke Animated Welcome Lamps that project the Boodles logo onto the ground. For Bentley enthusiasts, the collaboration now offers two bespoke specifications, Standard or Dark, which can be requested on any model in the range.

As a jewelry buff, it is indeed exciting to see the high-jewelry treatment applied to a car, turning these vehicles into what can only be described as rolling jewelry boxes. The most charming emblem of this transformation is the signature interlocking “B” design, designed to imitate antique lace and sitting diamond-encrusted on the center console.

In the Standard specification, the Bentley Bentayga EWB Azure is a standout, featuring a Gravity Grey and Linen interior paired with Autumn Stone and Piano Linen veneers, accented by a hand-painted Powder Pink pinstripe on the mirror caps and spoilers. The cabin is further elevated by mood lighting and Powder Pink accents that offer a signature Boodles touch.

As for the Dark version, it sets itself apart with a Satin Anthracite exterior, a Beluga and Baroda interior, and Piano Black veneer. Here, Silver and Chrome embroidery replace the pink, echoing the platinum and Single Mine Origin (SMO) 18-karat white gold seen in the ‘Be Boodles’ jewelry collection. To the uninitiated, these may seem like a simple list of materials, but the reality is that they represent exceptional quality, especially the Autumn Stone veneer, a 200-million-year-old natural stone laser-cut to a thickness of just 0.1 mm, and the 24ct gold-plated organ stop air vent controls.

Bentley continues to hold the gold standard in craftsmanship, from the jewel-like self-levelling wheel badges to the “Be Boodles” embroidery on the seats which alone takes six hours and nearly 300,000 stitches to complete. Honour Wainwright, sixth-generation Boodles family member and Director of Marketing, noted that the next chapter feels like a natural progression, stating, “We share not only northern roots, but also a commitment to British craftsmanship and attention to detail. Bringing the Boodles design language into Bentley’s world once again has been an incredibly rewarding process, and we’re delighted to see it evolve into something customers can now make their own.”
