The Flying Spur Mulliner is the most luxurious sedan Bentley has ever built

Bentley has revealed its most luxurious series-production sedan. Meet the 2022 Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner, the range-topping version in the Flying Spur line-up created to satiate the needs of the most discerning customer. Making its debut at the Monterey Car Week in California, the Flying Spur Mulliner arrives with exclusive touches and customization options created by the British luxury car manufacturer’s Mulliner coachbuilding arm. Starting with the exterior, the front is dominated by a unique front grille that features a double diamond pattern. The Bentley Flying B hood ornament is electronically deployed and illuminated.

The Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner rides on 22-inch wheels exclusive to the flagship version. The wheels feature a polished finish with grey accents and self-leveling wheel caps in the center that always face upright regardless of the wheels’ position. To set it apart from the rest of the line-up, the range-topper gets Mulliner badging on the fender vents, while the mirror caps are finished in Satin Silver. Additional special touches include jeweled fuel and oil caps.

Inside the cabin, the Flying Spur Mulliner features quilted leather seats with a diamond-in-diamond pattern that took 18 months to develop. Bentley claims each seat has 712 individual stitches. Buyers can choose from eight different three-tone color combinations for the cabin. The center console features a unique diamond-milled finish exclusive to the Mulliner trim. In addition to that, the interior gets deep-pile Mulliner-specific floor mats and illuminated door treadplates. Bentley developed Mulliner-specific graphics for the digital gauge cluster. The Flying Spur Mulliner is also equipped with electrically operated fold-out tables that self-level and operate using a push-button.

The Flying Spur Mulliner can be specified with any of the three engine options available for the regular Flying Spur variants: 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12, or the hybrid V6 powertrain. The pricing is yet to be announced by Bentley, but the Mulliner version will come with leather-bound keys in a handcrafted presentation box in the same color combination as the interior of the car.
