Ducati has collaborated with Bentley to create a $90,000 limited edition Diavel V4 inspired by the stunning Batur coupe

Ducati has teamed up with Bentley to introduce a limited-edition motorcycle inspired by the $2.1-million Batur coupe. Both the brands share a familial relationship as Volkswagen Group subsidiaries. You might remember that Ducati has previously collaborated with another VW-owned automaker, Lamborghini, to create several limited-edition motorbikes. However, this is the first time Ducati and Bentley have come together to work on a joint project. Called the Ducati Diavel for Bentley, it is based on the Italian motorcycle manufacturer’s Diavel V4 sports cruiser. It features plenty of design elements inspired by the Bentley Batur, a door grand touring coupé derived out of Continental GT Speed and limited to just 18 examples.

Designers from Ducati and Bentley worked together to transform the Diavel V4 into a stunning tribute to the Batur. The aesthetic changes received by the sports cruiser include reworked side air intakes designed to mimic Bentley’s front grille and a new front mudguard with three longitudinal ribs inspired by Batur’s hood. The Scarab Green color is straight out of Mulliner’s exclusive color palette.

The plush saddle gets a charcoal grey color along with bright red stitching to match the Batur’s color scheme inside the cabin. The seat features a stitched Bentley logo. Furthermore, the design of the forged wheels also matches that of the rims found on the Batur.

Mechanically, the Ducati Diavel for Bentley is identical to the standard Diavel V4, which is one beast of a motorcycle. The sports cruiser is powered by an 1158-cc liquid-cooled V4 engine that produces 166 horsepower and 93 pound-feet of torque. The Bentley it is inspired by features a 6.0-liter W12 engine capable of churning out 740 horsepower.

Ducati will produce only 500 numbered examples of the limited edition Diavel, which is priced at $70,000 apiece. In addition to that, a more exclusive run of just 50 Bentley Mulliner editions will be produced. Priced at $90,000, it will be exclusively available to Mulliner customers and will be offered with extensive customization options.
