Dior releases new color-rich, high jewelry collection, Dior et Moi

Someone very cleverly said, ‘Jewelry takes people’s minds off your wrinkles’. Take one look at any piece from Dior et Moi, Dior’s new high jewelry collection and you will not be thinking of anything else for a long, long time. The collection revisits history, reinterprets it, and presents it to you in a way that is refreshing and very adorning. You will find all pieces sharing a common element; they all feature two stones set side by side. It comes from a quaint tradition that dates back to the 17th century when Napoléon Bonaparte proposed to his future wife Joséphine de Beauharnais with a sapphire and diamond toi et moi ring representing you and me. Victoire de Castellane, Dior’s visionary designer is the mind behind this new Dior et Moi high jewelry collection and uses stones like Malachite, lapis lazuli, turquoise, and opals which happen to be her very favorite. They are teamed with complementing stones like diamonds, blue and pink sapphires, emeralds, tourmalines, pearls, rubellite, and kunzite.

The symbolic toi et moi designs of the past, have been re-imagined with incredible taste with as many as 39 jewels, including bangles, necklaces, earrings, and between-the-finger rings, which are the highlight of the collection.
