The Mansory P850 is an electric green G Wagon with 900 horsepower that’s bound to be as divisive as the new electric G-Class

Not to be outdone by the electric Mercedes-Benz G-Class making history, Mansory has taken the wraps off the P850 — a Mercedes-AMG G63 that’s had the Mansory parts catalogue thrown at it. Matte electric green paint job aside, the P850 wears the usual Mansory array of exposed forged carbon parts, massive 24-inch wheels, a fully redone interior, and a massaged drivetrain with 850-900 horsepower and 885 lb-ft torque. Pricing on the Mercedes-AMG G63 – Mansory P850 is on request, but expect e hefty addition to the base car’s price tag.

As the YouTuber who’s fixing a UK footballer’s crashed Mansory Rolls-Royce has found out, parts from the German tuning company don’t come cheap. In the Mansory P850’s case, the parts list includes new bumpers front and rear with forged carbon inserts, a new grille, vented hood, roof-mounted LED lights, spoiler, wing mirror caps, running boards and exhaust tip surrounds — all seemingly in exposed forged carbon fiber.

If that wasn’t Mansory enough, the interiors are done in white quilted leather with green piping, and a smattering of green accents in the way of colored forged carbon fiber inserts. It’s a bold take on the classic G Wagon, and one that’s sure to split opinion.

The Mansory P850 also packs performance upgrades that can be specified in “stages” with the company stating everything from 850 to 900 horsepower on tap. Mansory claims to shave a second off the stock Mercedes-AMG G63’s 0-60mph time, now down to 2.5 seconds.

Top speed on the Mansory P850 stands at 155mph, or about 6mph more than stock. The aero additions may be at work here, or just that Mansory’s claims are as bold as the SUV itself.
