Porsche expands Driver’s Selection range with more fan-focused items

Superior performance and the legendary handling of Porsche racing cars might be what sets it apart from other performance machines. Still, it’s the distinct design DNA that has more or less remained the same for the past 50 years is that Porsche purists die for. The Stuttgart-based company has added some more desirable lifestyle items and accessories to its existing lineup of Porsche Driver’s Selection that’ll brighten up your home and office.

If you hate the boring leather seat at your office and want to add some flair to your workspace, then you’ll definitely love the desk chair made from the bucket seat in a 911 Carrera wrapped in black leather and Porsche logo embossed on it. It also features an electronic backrest adjustment, just the original 911 Carrera seats.

Another item you cannot overlook is the wall shelf made out of the carbon fiber rear spoiler of a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup racing car. The spoiler is restructured to be used as a shelf and can take up to 264 pounds of load on it, but I am not sure why’ll someone keep books on something that looks this brilliant.

Porsche is also offering a 1:8 scale model of the newly launched 918 Spyder made out of resin. The scaled replica is limited to only 918 examples. The company has not announced the pricing and availability as of yet.
