Another bottle of the 30L “Midas” bottle of Armand de Brignac (“Ace of Spades”) Gold Champagne was sold at London’s exclusive member’s club OneForOne Park Lane, but this time found a home with professional gambler and US businessman Don “The Champagne King” Johnson. This large handcrafted bottle, named after King Midas, is the world’s largest luxury bottle of Champagne and is 100 pounds heavy, holding drinks worth 40 regular-sized bottles. Limited to only six versions, three men at OneForOne are needed to bring the bottle to the venue and serve anyone a drink. This particular bottle was sold for a staggering $190,000. The champagne has been in the news before, when a 15 L Armand de Brignac Nebuchadnezzar Champagne added spunk to the Dallas Mavericks’ first-ever NBA championship celebration.
