It’s been a decade since the Ram 1500 Limited hit the market, and the manufacturer has introduced a 10thAnniversary Edition of the luxury pickup to commemorate the occasion. Back in 2012, the Ram 1500 Limited was introduced as a luxurious variant in the company’s line-up for those looking for plush interiors, more amenities, and tech features in their rugged pickup trucks. It turned into a big success for Ram. The 10thAnniversary Edition is a more luxurious version of the already upscale 1500 Limited trim level.
“The new 2022 Ram 1500 Limited 10th Anniversary Edition celebrates 10 years of luxury pickup truck leadership, featuring the ultimate combination of capability, luxury, and refinement,” said Ram CEO Mike Koval Jr. “Ram 1500 Limited buyers have enjoyed the highest quality materials for a decade now and the Limited 10th Anniversary Edition is the latest example of how Ram delivers the most luxurious pickups in the industry.”
The Ram 1500 Limited 10th Anniversary Edition comes finished in an exclusive Blue Shade paint on the outside. In addition to that, the list of features included as standard equipment includes the automaker’s multifunction tailgate, a Mopar center-mounted bed step, and adjustable cargo tie-down hooks. The cabin is more luxurious than ever and features a new Indigo and Sea Salt Grey color scheme accented with Aluminum Litho bezels. It gets quilted leather seats and door panels, along with a suede headliner. Other special touches include a 10th Anniversary badge on the console, a special shift dial for the automatic transmission, a metal finishing kit for the pedals, and a 19-speaker sound system.
The 10th Anniversary Edition is available in crew cab configuration fitted with the 5.7-liter V8 engine with eTorque mild-hybrid assist or a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel engine. Ram has said the special edition would arrive at the dealerships in the third quarter of this year. As for the prices, the luxury pickup will cost $61,870 after a $1,695 destination charge.
