Airstream’s new limited edition touring coach is more like a swanky private jet on wheels

American brand Airstream is best known for their iconic Silver Bullet trailers that are instantly recognizable thanks to the distinct bullet like round shapes and shiny, polished aluminum coachwork. In addition to those beautiful and eye-catching trailers, the company also builds motorhomes called Interstate that are built upon Mercedes-Benz Class B. Airstream has launched a new limited edition version of it called the Interstate EXT Slate Edition touring coach, which will be available in both existing Grand Tour and Lounge floorplans. “Our growing Interstate touring coach lineup offers discerning travelers top-of-the-line luxury and comfort, and we are very excited to launch this unique, design-forward package,” said Bob Wheeler, president and CEO of Airstream. “The Slate perfectly blends Airstream’s focus on quality craftsmanship and materials, as well as our unmatched dedication to performance and safety.”
