Bentley has unveiled its first diesel vehicle ever; the Bentayga Diesel. The uber luxurious SUV will now come with a 4.0-litre, 32-valve V8 diesel engine with triple charging. The engine uses two turbochargers and one electric supercharger delivering 435 PS (429 bhp) and 900 Nm (664 lb. ft.) of torque. Paired with a quick ZF transmission the Bentayga Diesel can go from 0 to 62 mph in under 4.5 seconds making it the worlds fastest diesel SUV. Apparently it is the cleanest Bentley ever as well, chugging out 210 grams of CO2 for every km. Being green it is efficient as well, millionaires will have to make less stops at the gas station as under ideal conditions a tank of gas can deliver a range of 1,000 kms (621 miles).
The Bentayga Diesel has some subtle design changes – a new tailpipe design, black grille and ‘V8 diesel’ badges. The interiors remain the same, plush cabins adorned with leather, wood and more leather. Pricing is not known as of yet, deliveries with start for European customers early next year, followed by Russia, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Taiwan.
