Just a couple of days back, Rolls Royce’s deign chief, Giles Taylor revealed that the automaker’s plans to build its first SUV are on track and the design team is working on sketches to assess the viability of the concept. How could Bentley miss the chance and let the spotlight slip away. Bentley offered a first-view of its upcoming luxury SUV a couple of months back with a teaser photo in which the contours of the 4×4 could be seen along with the grille and headlamps and the rest hidden behind a lot of sand. This time, the luxury British automaker has released a teaser video which gives an idea of the SUVs massive size along with the beefed up body lines and some traditional Bentley touches such as the round headlamp cluster, the grille and fender air vents.
According to the official press release, the countdown to the arrival of the Bentley SUV has begun and will go into production in 2016 with a range of engines – including a plug-in hybrid option for 2017 – being offered to customers. The teaser video is short and still doesn’t give away too much about other features but it’s completely different than the EXP 9F concept that debuted at the Geneva Motor Show.
