Check it out: MINI has created a custom Hatch in honor of the upcoming royal wedding

British automotive marque MINI is celebrating the Royal Wedding in their own way by creating a one-off MINI Hatch designed to commemorate the union which will be donated to one of the couple’s chosen charities. After the royal wedding on the 19th of May, MINI will auction off their one-of-a-kind creation and donate the proceeds to The Children’s HIV Association (CHIVA).

The custom car is packed with cool details. We can’t look away from the roof design which was applied meticulously by hand in several layers and brings together elements of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s national flags – the Union Jack and the Stars & Stripes. This MINI’s side scuttles around the side turn signal indicators have been 3D-printed and embellish the initials M and H with a heart and rings. When the car is opened, they project an exclusive “Just Married” welcome onto the ground in front of the driver’s door and front-passenger door.

On the outside the car is Crystal White with Silver-blue accent strips and a black band that wraps around the car that features a blue-tinted matt silver paint finish. Some of the exterior chrome elements like the door handles have been given a blue-black tinted clear coat for a modern look. The rear lights in Union Jack design and dark-blue matt metallic wheel rims put the finishing touches to its external appearance.

On the inside, Satellite Grey leather provides a muted backdrop that allows details to pop. Harry and Meghan’s names and the wedding date and good wishes to the newlyweds can be seen on the large trim strip ahead of the front passenger seat.
