The weirdly named Ferrari 812 Superfast makes 789 bhp

Ferrari has given the world a first look at their 812 Superfast a few weeks before the car’s debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month. This new car is an updated version of the F12 Berlinetta which underwent like new body panels, LED headlights, and a quad tail-light. On the inside, the car gets a new instrument cluster, revised dashboard, a new steering wheel, the latest infotainment system, and streamlined climate controls. Even the seats have been redesigned to be more ergonomic.

Boasting a top speed of 211mph, and the capacity to go from 0-62mph in 2.9sec, this car is powered by a 789-hp, 530-lb-ft 6.5-liter V-12 engine which is the most powerful engine to emerge from the house of Ferrari. While the engine reaches maximum power at 8,500 rpm and max torque at 7,000 rpm, a staggering 80 percent of its torque is available at 3,500 rpm.

For the 7'1" superstar to fit in the cabin, its fuel tank was swapped from that of a lawnmower, which held fuel worth just $9. The supercar was sold for the price of a Ford F150.

Aesthetic differences include redesigned headlights, a new grille, active aerodynamic flaps in the front etc. The car will be launched in a shade of red called Rosso Settanta.
