Fiat 500e “Inspired By Los Angeles” is a special edition that features a unique paint job and a two-tone interior

Fiat has introduced a new special edition version of the 500e micro EV that joins the manufacturer’s “Inspired by” series. The new Fiat 500e Inspired By Los Angeles model features several special touches that are influenced by the iconic West Coast American metropolis. “Los Angeles’s special combination of ‘La Dolce Vita’ beach lifestyle, iconic car culture and high adoption of BEVs means it’s the ideal inspiration for our next 500e drop,” said Aamir Ahmed, head of FIAT North America. “The new Fiat 500e Inspired By Los Angeles reflects both Italian heritage, with its classic cinquecento design theme and made-in-Turin origin, and Angeleno culture, reflected in its Marine Layer Mist color and urban mission.”

The highlight of the special edition 500e is its exclusive Marine Layer Mist paint job. The beautiful silver-blue color is “named after the Southern California coastal marine layer that results from air masses of different temperatures and densities interacting, a natural phenomenon from May through June that gives the City of Angels a magical and complex feel.” In addition to the special paint job, the Inspired by LA edition matte gray mirror caps, black window trim, and contrasting black 17-inch wheels. Inside the cabin, you’ll find a two-tone interior with beige eco-leather seats, a “soft-touch” steering wheel, body-color trim, and a seven-speaker JBL audio system with a subwoofer.

The two-door EV gets a 42kWh battery pack that powers a single electric motor capable of producing 117hp and 162lb-ft of torque. According to Fiat, the 500e can accelerate from 0 to 60mph in 8.5 seconds and hit an estimated top speed of 94 mph. Furthermore, it can travel up to 149 miles on a single charge. Pricing for the Inspired by Los Angeles starts at $37,595, and Fiat says the special edition will begin arriving at dealerships later this year.
