A billionaire’s dream car? Karma has unveiled a one-off 1195hp monster built for a wealthy customer who wanted something more extreme

American luxury carmaker Karma Automotive has taken its Revero sedan to an entirely different level with the Eximius 1, a four-seat performance machine packing nearly 1,200 horsepower and an estimated top speed of more than 200 mph. But this is not simply a more powerful version of the company’s existing luxury sedan. The Eximius 1 is the first creation from Karma’s new bespoke vehicle program, which allows wealthy customers to work directly with its design and engineering teams to build cars that are as individual as their owners. Unveiled at the 2026 Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, the car began as a commission from an existing Revero owner who wanted something considerably more extreme. Karma expects to deliver the one-off creation in 2027, although its price and the identity of the customer remain under wraps.

The biggest change can be found under the hood, where the Revero’s original three-cylinder range-extender has made way for a 6.2-liter V8. The engine produces 550 horsepower, while the electric component contributes another 645 horsepower, bringing the combined output to 1,195 horsepower. Unlike a conventional hybrid, the plug-in series-hybrid arrangement uses the combustion engine as part of an electrically driven powertrain. Karma claims the Eximius 1 can sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds, with its top speed expected to exceed 200 mph. That is remarkable performance for a car that still has room for four occupants.

The bespoke touches are just as dramatic on the outside, where almost every body panel, apart from the outer body surface, uses pre-impregnated carbon fiber. The car is finished in Borealis Blue, with exposed carbon-fiber sections gradually fading into the paint across the hood and front doors. Its aggressive front end features a large carbon-fiber splitter, enormous air intakes and distinctive lighting elements, while the hood carries a design feature called the Comet Line. Wider wheel arches make the car 50 millimeters wider than the standard Revero, and the rear gets a full-width GT wing, a prominent diffuser and additional aerodynamic detailing. It also rides on 21-inch magnesium center-lock wheels, with carbon-ceramic brakes and Öhlins semi-active suspension helping manage all that power.

Inside, the blue theme continues with carbon fiber, Italian leather and Alcantara covering much of the cabin. Recaro carbon-fiber bucket seats provide support up front, while billet-aluminum pedals and a redesigned center console give the interior a more purposeful feel. Interestingly, the rear compartment features a dedicated holder for the owner’s custom-fitted carbon-fiber racing helmet, complete with a securing strap. It is a small detail, but one that makes clear this car was built around a particular individual rather than a conventional customer profile.

The Eximius program is designed to take customization well beyond paint colors and upholstery, allowing clients to request changes to bodywork, performance hardware and powertrains. Car and Driver reports that Karma intends to limit bespoke creations to nine examples based on each production model. The company is also preparing several new vehicles, including the Gyesera, Amaris and Kaveya, as it expands its lineup. For now, however, the Eximius 1 offers a rather unusual glimpse of what happens when a customer asks a luxury carmaker to turn an already distinctive sedan into a nearly 1,200-horsepower track weapon.
