Koenigsegg One:1 gets a Dubai Police makeover

If you have been following the automobiles section of Luxury Launches for the past month and a half, then you’ll know that the newly unveiled Koenigsegg One:1 hypercar – or megacar as the automaker calls it – has become our favorite. It has created ripples in the automotive world and has been making news ever since it was first teased by Koenigsegg, which makes it one of the most coveted cars in the world today. Dubai Police has one outrageous fleet of cars comprising of some of the best supercars and top-of-the-line luxury cars, and it’s always hard to guess what will be its next addition. The Dubai Police fleet already includes a Bugatti Veyron, Aston Martin One-77, and Lamborghini Aventador but doesn’t have a Koenigsegg, so it only seems natural for them to go for the One:1.

Santapanter Photography has released a render of how a Koenigsegg One:1 will look with the Dubai Police livery, and though we won’t say it looks anything as good as the original white and natural carbon fiber paintjob, but nevertheless it gives us an idea. But one thing is for sure that even if Dubai Police wanted to get one of these, it won’t be able to as Koenigsegg will build on six examples of the One:1 and they all have sold already. The Swedish supercar maker claims that it has top speed of over 273mph which will make it faster than Bugatti Veyron and Hennessey Venom GT which has been grabbing headlines recently. The hypercar hasn’t done an official run to record its top speed so there isn’t anything to back the claims except for some proper jaw-dropping numbers on the spec-sheet. The One:1 has a total of 1341hp to its disposal which gives it a perfect power to weight distribution of 1hp per kilo of curb weight.
