Following the Centenario Coupe which commemorated Ferruccio Lamborghini’s 100th birthday. The Italian car maker has unveiled what could be the company’s most outrageous roadster ever. The design as aggressive and curvy like its coupe sibling but sans the roof. Exclusive to the drop top is a new color the ‘Argento Centenario’ a signature silver matte finish which uses a high tech process dissolving the metal while diluting and diminishing the appearance of the metal grain giving it a silky and rich exterior finish. Powering this hypercar will be the most powerful engine Lamborghini has ever developed a massive 770bhp naturally aspirated V12 which redlines at 8600 RPM and shoots the car from a 0 to 60mph in 2.9 seconds. With a top speed of 350 km/hr the engineers have equipped the Centenario Roadster with a rear wheel drive steering for improved stability and agility.
Only 20 of these gorgeous convertibles will be ever made and yes, they are already sold out. The roadster is a bit more expensive than its hard top counterpart, $250k to be precise. At current exchange rates the Centenario Roadster carries a price tag of $ 2.23 million.
