Mercedes-Benz Style EC145 Luxury Helicopter takes off


Mercedes-Benz and Eurocopter have joined hands to unveil the Mercedes-Benz Style EC145 luxury helicopter. Designed for business and private travel, this first product of the line is meant to soar in extreme luxury even in the air. Touted to be the only helicopter in its class that can seat up to eight passengers, the cabin layout has been inspired by Mercedes-Benz’s new R-Class range. This special edition boasts of stylish interiors shaped up by Mercedes-Benz designers. For personalization, seat upholstery in the cockpit and cabin are available in a range of deluxe materials and shades. Elegant wood styling on the floor as well ceilings adds to its elegance. There is also space for three multi-function boxes with cool features like a cool box, cup holder, table, 15-inch monitor, and DVD player.

The designers have made optimum use of space even at the rear as there is a multi-purpose storage facility at the tail. Stuff it with golf clubs or bikes and surfboards for a holiday. The Eurocopter EC145 Mercedes-Benz Style is the most versatile and spacious model in its class. This twin-engine turbine helicopter with a high-end interior was unveiled at the 2010 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition in Geneva, Switzerland. It will be available from the fourth quarter of 2011.
