Set to launch in 2027, “Amangati,” the first‑ever yacht by Aman Hotels, will offer 47 lavish suites with private balconies, a jazz club, and a spa with a Japanese garden

What’s in a name? Everything. And Aman, one of the world’s most revered ultra-luxury hospitality brands, understands this perfectly. The brand, known for its minimalist aesthetics and understated elegance, has unveiled the name of its first luxury motor yacht: Amangati. Currently under construction by T. Mariotti S.p.A in Genoa, Italy, the vessel is scheduled for launch in 2027. Meaning “peaceful motion” in Sanskrit, the name offers a first glimpse of what guests can expect aboard this luxurious vessel, which will feature 47 expansive suites, each with its own private balcony.

After three decades of being synonymous with tranquil land-based getaways, Aman, which operates 34 resorts, hotels, and private residences across 20 countries, is now extending its philosophy to the seas. Amangati promises an elevated experience at sea: guests can indulge in four international dining concepts, a Jazz Club, a sprawling Aman Spa, and an expansive Beach Club with direct access to the water at the yacht’s stern.

The 600-foot Amangati is being designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design. The vessel’s name signifies progress toward a goal or enlightenment, embodying Aman’s commitment to mindful luxury, now paired with sustainability. The mammoth yacht will incorporate a suite of green technologies, including battery-powered systems, to enable a more sustainable mode of travel.

Launching from the Mediterranean during the summer season of 2027, the Amangati will also be available for private charter, offering a level of luxury never before seen at sea.
