Brabus has made a name for themselves in automobiles by tuning Mercedes cars to be incredibly quick and more powerful. At last weekend’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, the mod-Gods set out to showcase the S63 AMG 4MATIC based Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo Cabrio. The powerful beast of metal, glass, and rubber is said to generate 625kW/1450Nm from its twin-turbo 6-liter V8 engine. The company claimed that it could go from zero to 100 mph in just 3.5 seconds and up to 200 kmph in just 9.4 seconds. That’s not all; the company claims that the top speed could have been more if not for the tires’ limitation. Now that’s saying something.
The 5912 cc engine is way more capable than the E63’s modest 5461 ccs, while the twin-turbo V8 offers a Brabus crankshaft with several additional benefits. The new stainless steel sports exhaust, new air intake system, larger aluminum paddle shifters on the steering wheel, a front spoiler along with a rear diffuser and fixed boot spoiler for stability at high speeds, and 255/35 front and 295/30 21-inch rear tires complete the ensemble, with an option of a 22-inch package.
The prices of this monstrosity of power and speed have not yet gone public.
