Korean Air brings Absolut Celestial Bars to its A380 aircraft


Soon you can fly onboard the A380 aircraft in Korea in the lap of utmost luxury now. Korean giant Korean Air and The Absolut Co have come together to bring out Absolut Celestial Bars on the airline’s new A380 aircraft, which has been operational since June 17. The Airbus A380 will sport two bars in business class and another one in first-class along with a “complete onboard duty-free showcase offering a selection of products.” The collaboration started way back in 2005 and is said to grow more after another five Korean Air A380 aircraft will be added to the fleet by the end of 2011, and another five by 2014.

The bars will sport minimal Absolut branding with no visible logos. Traditional Korean woodcarvings inspire the bar in the shape of the Absolut bottle. You can pick out your drink from the drink folders and cards the offer exclusive cocktails, which you can also create by yourself, to be served by the onboard bartender.
