Low fares but high demand is a winning formula for the aviation sector off late. People want to travel, and airlines are happy to help it seems. One of the most popular networks now is the transatlantic routes. Norwegian Air has announced new flights from three US destinations to Paris. Los Angeles, New York JFK and Fort Lauderdale will take passengers beyond the Atlantic on its new Boeing 787 Dreamliners – four times, twice a week and weekly, respectively. And the fares will be as low as $175 during off-peak times which can go as high as $350 in high season – both, one way.
The airline is focused on leisure travellers, especially on the Los Angeles sector due to a high number of tourists, as similar to Paris. And in terms of traffic, Paris to US route is expected to be busier than the other way around. Many other low cost carriers are focusing on this sector. Norwegian Air already flies to five other European cities from the US including Stockholm, Copenhagen, London, Oslo and Bergen.
