Are you also a shopaholic who wished to one day, be locked up in their favorite department store? Then we have news for you- that may not have to be a fantasy anymore. Thanks to Airbnb, that’s about to be a thing now. After offering people stay in a pimped out KLM plane, as part of their ‘A Night At…’ initiative, they’re turning to famous French store Galeries Lafayette next. Read on for details.
In the build up to France’s “soldes” or sales, the Parisian department store is calling contestants to go on Airbnb and describe in 100 words or less why they should win a stay at Galeries Lafayette. Et voila! Six winners will not only get exclusive access, dinner and the chance to sleep under the iconic, one-hundred year old dome but also the opportunity to peruse, select pieces and purchase from an oversized closet. And a voucher worth about $243 to get them started.
Just think, waking up to a fine French breakfast (yep!) and being the first to go through the checkout line before sales officially kick-off. All this goes down January 6th and all those interested have until midnight on December 28. What’re you waiting for then? Get clicking!
