Bulgari’s snake-inspired Serpenti Seduttori watch for women gets a new tourbillon movement for 2020

At last year’s Baselworld expo, Bulgari introduced a new collection of snake-inspired timepieces called the Serpenti Seduttori, which translates to “serpent seductress.” The original Serpenti Seduttori, like most ladies’ watches, featured a Quartz movement. For 2020, the brand has introduced a manual-winding tourbillon movement for women which will power the new Serpenti Seduttori Tourbillon collection. The caliber BVL150 boasts a tourbillon and has a 40-hour power reserve. High-end watches for women with tourbillon mechanisms are uncommon, and the latest iteration with its tiny manual-winding tourbillon movement makes the elegant watch more technical and sophisticated.

The new Seduttori Tourbillon comes with a “snakehead” case that measures 34mm-wide and 8.9mm-thick, slightly bigger to make room for the tourbillon movement instead of the Quartz movement. Bulgari has released the watch in three versions: white gold with diamonds and a leather strap, white gold with diamonds and a matching scaled bracelet, rose gold with diamonds, and a leather strap. The strap versions have over 2.5 carats worth of diamonds, while the bracelet version has over 7.5 carats. There is no word on the pricing or availability of the new Serpenti Seduttori collection.
