Stars’ offspring often get to enjoy a lavish lifestyle just like their parents. Some spoil their “little princes and princesses” to the extent that they would buy them not only a designer bag but a six-figure luxury watch, encrusted with diamonds.
“Yeah, kids only care about toys and candy but the thing is the kids also go outside. Kids go to restaurants, kids go to fancy places. Celebrity kids, they go do red carpets,” rap star Cardi B once said in an Instagram story when asked about giving luxury fashion items to her kids.
“If I’m fly and daddy’s fly, then so is the kid. If I’m wearing Cha-nay-nay, my kid’s having the same.” In fact, when Cardi B wears an Audemars Piguet, her daughter Kulture isn’t far behind, flaunting a Richard Mille herself
So who are the other celebrity kids flashing Rolexes and Patek Philippes on their tiny wrists?
1. Kylie Jenner’s daughter Stormi Webster – Rolex Day-Date
In a recent “what’s in my bag?” TikTok, Kylie Jenner shared with fans what she carried in her Bottega Veneta bag. The beauty mogul then casually took out a gold Rolex that belongs to her five-year-old daughter, Stormi Webster – an expensive addition to the Chanel purse she received for her first birthday.
“I have Stormi’s little watch in here,” she said, “It was actually my watch, but she wore it. Look how small her wrist is. She wore it to a birthday party and she didn’t wanna wear it any more.”
It turned out to be a Rolex Day-Date 40 with a champagne dial, gold case and President bracelet, operated by calibre 3255 automatic movement, according to Page Six. Perhaps on her next birthday, Webster will level up to another Rolex with a higher price tag than this one, which is believed to be worth US$41,500 by Chrono24.
2. DJ Khaled’s son Asahd – Rolex Datejust
DJ Khaled also chose a Rolex for his son, Asahd, when he was even younger than Stormi. Back in 2018, when Asahd was only two years old, his proud dad shared a video on his Instagram of him buying the toddler a diamond piece, saying “Everything is for my son. It’s what I work hard for.”
It was a Lady-Datejust in 18k yellow gold with a mother-of-pearl dial and President bracelet, according to IFL Watches. The watch also featured brilliant-cut diamonds for the hour markers and full-set bezel, customised to fit Asahd’s wrist. It costs US$34,000, the shopkeeper told the famous rapper in the clip.
3. David and Victoria Beckham’s son Romeo – Jacob & Co. Five Time Zone
Several years ago, Romeo, the second son of football legend David Beckham and his wife Victoria, was spotted wearing a colourful Jacob & Co. watch at a sports event when he was only in his early teens.
The 47mm Five Time Zone Supreme Edition in stainless steel featured a brilliant-cut diamond bezel and a sapphire band bracelet, according to Jacob & Co. On its mother-of-pearl dial, it has five time zones in different colours, including for New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo and Paris – staying true to its name. Superwatchman estimated that its value was nearly US$15,000. The Beckhams are known for flaunting a serious collection of luxury watches.
4. Cristiano Ronaldo’s son Cristiano Jr. – Rolex GMT Master II “Ice”
The eldest son of football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., rocked a flashy diamond Rolex GMT Master II “Ice” when the 10-year-old boy was accompanying his dad to receive “the player of the century” at the Dubai Globe Soccer Awards in 2020.
The 40mm timepiece is an 18k white gold full-set with 79 baguette-cut diamonds of nearly 30 carats around the entire watch, including the case, bezel, lugs and bracelet. It also features a custom diamond-paved “wave” dial, a power reserve of 50 hours and water resistance up to 100 metres. It has an insane price tag of half a million dollars, according to auction house Phillips.
5. Cardi B’s daughter Kulture – Richard Mille
In 2021, Kulture celebrated her third birthday with a big pink princess-themed party and her most valuable gift was none other than a pink Richard Mille watch from her rapper father, Offset.
It looks similar to the model RM 011 Felipe Massa, famously owned by legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather, and features the typical Richard Mille case: a tonneau shape with a curved bezel and diamond-encrusted caseback. The black dial shows a skeletonised automatic winding movement and it is estimated to cost around US$250,000.
On her previous birthday, Kulture also received another costly gift from her dad, a Birkin bag valued at more than US$8,000.
6. Nicki Minaj’s son Papa Bear – Patek Philippe Nautilus
The youngest child sporting a lavish watch must be the son of Nicki Minaj, known as “Papa Bear”. In 2021, the star shared a photo of her three-month-old baby in a US$600 Fendi snapsuit, a diamond chain necklace that said “Papa Bear” and a Patek Philippe Nautilus, Time and Tide Watches reports.
The 5719/10G model has the rounded octagonal shape of the elegant sports Nautilus launched in 1976. This sparkling watch in 18k white gold has been fully set with 1,343 baguette-cut diamonds, according to the brand.
