One of the new Hublot Big Bang Unico 45 watches for 2015 was spawned as a result of the partnership between the luxury watchmaker and Italia Independent announced in November 2014. Hublot and Italia Independent officially launched Big Bang Unico Italia at the Palais de Tokyo, within the walls of Monsieur Bleu. The two limited edition Hublot Big Bang Unico models are truly unique thanks to the blue and gray color styles, as well as the “Texalium” material used for much of the case and bezel. The material Texalium is basically aluminum-coated carbon fiber; the great advantage of this is that it can be designed in different colors and has a remarkable brilliance, with all the lightness of carbon fiber.
As mentioned before, the Big Bang Unico Italia Independent is available in two colors – grey or blue. A 500-piece limited edition of each of these two versions will be produced. Each watch comes in a customized Italia Independent display case, complete with a pair of Italia Independent sunglasses as a bonus gift for Big Bang customers. Handmade in Switzerland, these sunglasses benefit from the highest level of expertise and the frame of these stylish sunglasses is also made from Texalium. The limited edition watches are priced at $28,600 a pop.
