New York City restaurant offers its wine collection on an iPad

Chuck the paper card menus as iPads are taking over as the latest display device at swanky restaurants. Setting the trend is the NYC’s South Gate restaurant as they have launched custom-designed iPad wine tablets. Assuming that their wine-drinking customers are tech-savvy, the restaurant has listed more than 650 bottles on their wine tablets. These iPads will dole out detailed information about the major wine regions and varietals at the touch of the button. Also, it is programmed to update the wine list as labels sell out automatically. Guess the wine steward’s occupation is endangered as the iPads are taking over as the current age wine guides at restaurants!
