COACH, the leading New York house of luxury accessories, celebrated its launch with its Modern Luxury retail concept at the Palladium, Mumbai. The grand opening of the brand’s first store in the country saw a gala star-studded affair with the who’s who of the city joining in the celebrations. Jacqueline Fernandez officially welcomed the classic American brand to India.
The New York styled party at the central atrium of Palladium, was transformed to create an ambience that overlooked the unforgettable skyline of Manhattan- the city that continues to be a source of inspiration t the 75 year old brand.
The store will carry a wide assortment of accessories for men and women including bags, small leather goods, weekend and travel accessories, scarves and jewellery. The store will also carry coveted handbags from Coach 1941, the brand’s runway collection including the season’s statement bag, The Rogue.
The guests were seen sipping the interesting mix of cocktails and enjoying the perfect fusion of DJ & percussionist playing American tunes blended in with Indian beats.
