The cognac hails from a single harvest batch that dates back to 1858 (Cuvee Leonie). Two years back a bottle from this unique batch sold at an auction in Shanghai, China for approx. $156,760. Moreover, buyers, you must know that this exclusive bottle has history to it. Sources reveal that according to author Joseph Scott "Winston Churchill and General Eisenhower plotted the allies victory in World War 2 over an 1858 Croizet that had been secreted out of France by the French Underground."

Quick! Make a list of those brands/companies that haven’t offered you good customer service. Yes, now assemble all those things you have brought from them, either put them on fire or hire sledgehammer-wielding men to smash them to pieces! Doesn’t seem like a great idea? Well that’s what a wealthy Chinese Maserati owner resorted to! Yes he did, and it’s no myth. Identifying himself only with his surname, Mr. Wang actually went on to hire four sledgehammer-wielding men to smash his $420,000 Maserati Quattroporte in protest to poor customer service. And that too after having gathered a crowd just outside the opening of an auto show in the eastern city of Qingdao in Shandong province! The end result was ‘a crippled vehicle’ (as opposed to the Maserati Quattroporte) with shattered windscreen and mirrors, the grille broken and dents on the bodywork. All this draped in a banner accusing the Italian manufacturer. Well, that’s quite an expensive protest don’t you think? And with all the press coverage this news has been getting, I’m sure Maserati has its ears and eyes open and has got the “underlined” message.

If you have the big bucks in hand, anything can be purchased - cars, clothes, property, and even dates! First we saw Hollywood hottie Lindsay Lohan be bought for a date by Australian billionaire for $150,000, later Warren Buffet made news when a lunch date with him ran in millions. Last we heard of, was of the coffee date with Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO which rumored to reach $180,000. Now news reveals that the auction has reached its apex with a final bid of a whopping $610,000! That’s quite impressive ain't it? Who wouldn't want to sit across the table with the CEO of one of the most legendary brands?

Rupert Murdoch, Australian American media mogul has recently purchased the Moraga Vineyards in Bel Air, a 13-acre estate from Thomas Jones, former Northrop Grumman CEO. Rupert commercialized this news via twitter of all things! However, not disclosing the amount at which he made the purchase. Nonetheless, sources reveal the estate to had been up for sale since February by owner Thomas Jones for $29.5 million. Spread over a good 13-acres, the vineyard comes by as a profitable as well as a good choice made by Murdoch. Its sun-kissed hillsides, shaded canyons, surrounding a 7,500sq.ft toile-infused main house, two-bedroom guest cottage, an on-site wine cave, and a 4,400-square-foot office building makes it a highly impressive and attractive property to own.
