Walker built his reputation on what he calls Sports Purpose builds, transforming neglected Porsches into street-legal machines with racecar character. His philosophy centers on driving cars rather than preserving them as garage queens, arguably a tough feat to do with the estimated 40+ Porsches in his collection.
The decision to sell this handpicked garage wasn’t made lightly. Walker describes the motivation as shedding skin, a form of rebirth. His Los Angeles warehouse in the Arts District houses the dream collection, many of which he rescued from poor condition and rebuilt with his distinctive style. But the collection had grown beyond his original vision, becoming what he called an out-of-control hobby that eventually felt burdensome.
