A millionaire architect is selling his collection of six pristine Porsche 911 GT3s variants that come with their own transport truck

In a rare opportunity that will surely set collectors’ hearts racing, RM Sotheby’s is offering what might be the ultimate Porsche package deal: six virtually new 991-generation 911 GT3 variants complete with their own transport truck. The collection, set to be auctioned next month in Munich, represents a carefully curated selection of the finest naturally-aspirated 911s from the 991-era, all showing delivery mileage only.

Alexander Serda

Austrian architect Alexander Serda assembled this extraordinary collection with the original intention of displaying it at the 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed to celebrate Porsche’s 70th anniversary. Although those plans never materialized, the result is an unprecedented opportunity for enthusiasts – a time capsule of six factory-fresh special Porsches.

The crown jewel of the collection is undoubtedly the 2016 Porsche 911 R, number 698 of just 991 produced. Finished in white with red stripes, this highly sought-after manual transmission variant represents Porsche’s purist approach to driving pleasure. With less than 50 kilometers on the odometer, it alone could command north of $575,000 based on recent sales.

Complementing the 911 R are two race-ready machines: a 2018 911 GT3 Cup and a more extreme 2018 GT3 Cup R, the latter being an FIA-homologated Group GT3 competitor. Neither car has ever seen competition, with the Cup showing just 32 kilometers and the Cup R a mere 24 kilometers.

The collection also includes three road-going models: a 2018 911 GT3 in striking Indian Red with the Clubsport package, a subtle black 2018 GT3 Touring with less than 20 kilometers, and a 2019 GT3 RS in Racing Yellow equipped with the desirable Weissach package, which adds numerous carbon fiber components.

Perhaps most impressively, the entire collection comes with its own 2019 MAN TGX 18.640 tractor and Rolfo Auriga six-car trailer, both essentially new with only 500 kilometers. The 640-horsepower truck is technically the most powerful vehicle in the group, though hardly the star attraction.

While RM Sotheby’s hasn’t disclosed an estimate for the complete lot, industry experts expect the collection to easily reach seven figures. For the serious collector looking to acquire multiple special-edition 911s in immaculate condition, this represents a unique chance to purchase not just cars, but a perfectly preserved moment in Porsche’s performance history – delivery miles and all.
