Live like you’re in Disneyland, Utah’s largest home, a $34.5 million Disney-themed estate, hits the auction block with a Star Wars theater, Tiki Room, and a 42-seat dining table

Everyone who visits Disneyland has the same thought, I wish I could live here forever. It is, after all, the happiest place on Earth, so the sentiment is expected. But now, that feeling no longer has to be dismissed as a childish dream. For a couple million bucks, it can actually come true. Welcome to Lazy R Ranch, a sprawling Disney-themed mansion in Utah, originally listed for $34.5 million. Also known as the state’s largest private home, this 154-acre estate is now hitting the auction block, with bids expected to start well below the original $34.5 million asking price. The five-story residence will go to the highest bidder through Concierge Auctions, with bids due by May 29.

Simply slashing the price and offering discounts didn’t help the 2019-built property, but it might just be a dream come true for a large family with a deep love for Disney. The main house spans 40,807 square feet, and there’s also a separate under-construction 27,080-square-foot “pool barn.” This massive covered structure rises 53 feet high and houses an unfinished indoor swimming pool, a gym, and a large event space, plus a 16-car garage.

It’s no surprise that the home also flaunts details so extravagant they sound made up. Take, for example, the formal dining room, about the size of a basketball court, centered around a custom table that seats 42 guests. Think it’s all size and no style? Let’s talk about the whimsical details. There are seven guest suites in the main house, all with vaulted ceilings, walk-in closets, wet bars, and en suite bathrooms. But it’s the Disney-inspired features that truly enchant.

From a Swiss Family Robinson–themed bunkroom and a replica of Disneyland’s Enchanted Tiki Room to a Frontierland-style shooting gallery, there’s no shortage of fantasy here. Still not impressed? Then perhaps the underground 64-seat Star Wars–themed theater will change your mind. And yes, there’s also an underground “raceway” that loops beneath the entire home’s footprint.

Maybe it’s this movie-like living that’s made the mansion hard to sell, or perhaps it’s just too massive to maintain with all its over-the-top elements. According to Realtor.com, the Lazy R Ranch also includes a guesthouse, a five-bay shop, a well house, and even a nearly complete pond that could be stocked with fish. The pond is so large, the owner needed a dam permit to build it. Who will get to call this magical haven home depends entirely on how the bidding unfolds. For now, the one-of-a-kind estate is up for grabs, with starting bids reportedly set “up to $8 million.”
