Mr. Beast is broadening his horizons and going beyond the realm of YouTube with an incredible new game show on Amazon Prime Video. The streaming giant has greenlighted a popular YouTube series from influencer Mr.Beast into a bonafide game show called “Beast Games.” His 300 million subscribers were party to the fact that the YouTube channel has only gotten bigger and better with every passing year and this show is not only his biggest but comes with the largest single prize of any television show in history. Aptly titled Beast Games, the show will air in 240 countries and offer its winner $5 million in cash, per The Sun.

A cast of 1,000 will compete for the prize in the show that Mr. Beast, aka Jimmy Donaldson, will serve as executive producer of. The 25-year-old shared, “My goal is to make the greatest show possible and prove YouTubers and creators can succeed on other platforms. Amazon gave me the creative control I need to try and make it happen. I hope to make the YouTube community proud.” Jennifer Salke, the head of Amazon MGM Studios, added: “MrBeast has captured the attention and imagination of fans of all ages, from all walks of life and all over the world. We are excited to work with Jimmy and his talented team to bring his brilliant, high production and stakes-raising concepts to ‘Beast Games’ for our global customers to experience.”

Prime Video kept details under wraps, only saying the company was “blown away by his ambition to make ‘Beast Games’ the biggest reality competition series ever,” but fans and followers are well-aware of what Donaldson brings to the plate. The Oprah of YouTube gained an astounding 9.2 million subscribers in a single month with his $3.5 Million ‘Squid Game’ recreation in 2021. He knows how to blow minds by smashing Lamborghini Gallardos, or by surprising a fellow content creator by gifting a $2.5 million private jet. But the $5 million game show is something unprecedented for the guy who tipped a house to a pizza delivery guy. The Beast Games will be for Amazon Prime Video, what Squid Games was for Netflix, and perhaps bigger.

After spending $48 million a year making his videos, the 6-foot-4 creator worth $500 million is finally getting a launchpad outside YouTube. Donaldson is also gearing to sell a small stake of his studio. According to Forbes, 10% could cost $150 million which would make Donaldson the world’s first billionaire YouTuber as his 90% stake would be worth $1.4 billion. “Your probability of being a billionaire is higher if you don’t make that your goal,” Donaldson said matter-of-factly. “Just focus on making a company that is dope.”

Clearly, he knows what he is doing as he went from being the teenager who started with zero money in 2012 making videos on mainly Minecraft and Call of Duty to becoming a millionaire a decade later.
