There was so much opulence on display that we almost missed a jaw-dropping bespoke timepiece Anant wore during his wedding. The watch in question is a one-off Vacheron Constantin Les Cabinotiers Grande Complication Bacchus, which is believed to be worth $4 million.

It was in 2022 when Vacheron’s specialized workshop released the Grande Complication Bacchus, a unique piece with two dials and 16 complications – 4 less than the crazy Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime 6300G-010, which is also owned by Anant. The jaw-dropping timepiece offers a combination of astronomical and calendar complications along with a minute repeater and tourbillon, making it one of the most complicated watches ever to be made by Vacheron Constantin.

Crafted from transparent sapphire, the watch recreates a garden with rotating flowers made of precious stones.

The one-off timepiece released back then featured a case made out of 18k 5N pink gold. The Swiss luxury watchmaker built a platinum version of the timepiece for Anant Ambani.

The massive case measures 47mm across and is 19.10 mm high. Paying tribute to the mythological Roman god of wine, the case is stunningly decorated with hand-engraved vine leaves and ripe ruby grapes.

The double-faced grand complication showcases the incredible skills of both an engraver and a gem-setter. According to the watchmaker, it took 300 hours of work to decorate the case. The sides are encrusted with 113 rubies totaling 1.84 carats.

The watch is powered by the manual-winding caliber 2755 GC16 with a tourbillon regulator and 16 complications. It is made out of 839 individual components. The front of the watch boasts the perpetual calendar, power reserve, and tourbillon, while the reverse accommodates the star chart and sidereal time display. Additionally, the Bacchus has a minute repeater chiming the hours, quarters, and minutes on demand.

The movement delivers a 58-hour power reserve, which is mind-blowing for a watch with such a long list of complications. The watch is fitted with an Alligator strap with a hand-engraved folding buckle.
